DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Martin Bucher Bucher (APC\, Universite Paris 7)\nThe
ESA Planck satellite\, launched in 2009\, produced full-sky maps of the m
icrowave sky\nin both temperature and polarization over a broad range of f
requencies.\nAn analysis of these maps allows us to characterize the initi
al\nconditions of our universe. The Planck Collaboration has released\ntwo
sets of papers with results on cosmology: one in 2013\nand another in 201
 5. I will discuss the implications of these\nresults for our understanding
of the physics at play in the very\nearly universe. I will also discuss p
rospects for improving our understanding\nwith future CMB probes\, in part
icular of the CMB B mode polarization.\n\nhttps://indico.particle.mephi.ru
