 scow\, Russia) on the basis of the Scientific and Educational Center NEVOD
  the central part of a new cluster type array NEVOD-EAS for the determinat
 ion of size\, arrival direction\, axis position of extensive air showers w
 ith energies of 10^15 – 10^17 eV was created and launched. Central part 
 of the setup includes 4 clusters of scintillation detector stations locate
 d around the complex of detectors NEVOD and DECOR at the area of about 10^
 4 m^2. Studies of amplitude and time parameters of cluster response\, as w
 ell as EAS registration are being conducted. The express analysis of exper
 imental data and monitoring of operating parameters are being performed. T
 he results of studying of the setup operating parameters and analysis of e
 xperimental data obtained during continuous series of measurements on the 
 registration of extensive air showers with the central part of NEVOD-EAS a
