DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Kirill Bronnikov (VNIIMS)\nIn the Bergmann-Wagoner-N
ordtvedt class of scalar-tensor theories\, well known are wormhole solutio
ns existing in the phantom sector of the theory. Exceptional wormholes exi
st in the canonical sector owing to the phenomenon of conformal continuati
on\, the situation where the Einstein frame manifold maps to only a region
of the Jordan frame manifold\, and the latter is smoothly continued to a
region with negative effective gravitational coupling. We discuss the exis
tence conditions and the stability properties of exceptional wormholes\, i
n particular\, those with and without an electromagnetic field in the Bran
s-Dicke theory: it is shown how the electromagnetic field plays a stabiliz
 ing role.\n\nhttps://indico.particle.mephi.ru/event/626/contributions/6270
