 s the stability of background conditions in the νGeN experiment at the Ka
 linin Nuclear Power Plant. It is demonstrated that fluctuations of the bac
 kground count rate of the germanium detector inside the passive shielding 
 are correlated with the intensity of photoabsorption peaks from radon-rela
 ted gamma rays. Using data from periods with different intensity of these 
 peaks\, an energy spectrum of radon-related contribution to the experiment
