 k presents directed flow ($v_1$) measurements of charged pions in Xe+Cs(I)
  collisions at 3.8A GeV\, obtained with the BM@N experiment. Pion directed
  flow is studied as a function of centrality\, rapidity\, and transverse m
 omentum. The results are compared with existing world data\, and their imp
 lications for constraining the EoS of dense baryonic matter are discussed.
