DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Daria Strekalina (2	Autonomous Non-Profit Educationa
l Organization of Higher Education “Sirius University of Science and Tec
hnology”\, Sirius Federal Territory\, Russia)\nMuonography is an innovat
ive method for investigating the internal structure of massive natural and
industrial objects using fluxes of high-energy atmospheric muons. Its ran
ge of applications is broad\, extending from mineral exploration to the as
sessment of natural and man-made risks to civil infrastructure. In geology
and geophysics\, it serves as a promising tool that complements tradition
al approaches and acts as an independent experimental method for forecasti
ng seismic and volcanic processes\, as well as for assessing deformation i
n fault\, landslide\, and karst zones. The paper presents the first geoeco
logical experiment conducted at Mount Bytkha (Sochi)\, involving the model
ing and optimization of detectors to identify zones of fracturing.\n\nhttp
