DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Anatoly Kotikov (JINR)\nExploring the anomalous dime
 nsions\, resummed through next-to-next-to-leading-logarithmic order\, we s
 tudy the first Mellin moments $D_{q\,g}(\\mu^2)$ of the quark and gluon fr
 agmentation functions\, which correspond to the average hadron multiplicit
 ies in jets initiated by quarks and gluons\, respectively. By fitting the 
 world data on $D_{q\,g}(\\mu^2)$ for charged hadrons measured in\n$e^+e^-$
  annihilation\, we find a good agreement with the data and obtain\nthe fol
 lowing value for the strong coupling $\\alpha_s^{(5)}(M_Z)=0.1177+0.0027-0
