Description
Study of the strange particle production in nuclear collisions is one
of the most important items of the physics program of the BM@N and MPD
experiments at the NICA complex.
The BM@N Collaboration currently analyzes experimental data obtained
in interactions of Xe beam with CsI and Sn targets at different energies.
At the same time, recent MPD experiment simulations showed its ability to
run in the fixed-target mode at similar energies as BM@N. Some results of
both experiments on strangeness production study will be presented.
