General information
This is the first announcement of the 8th International Conference on Particle Physics and Astrophysics (ICPPA-2026) to be held in Moscow, Russia, (from the 27th to 30th of October). The conference is organized by National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI”.

The aim of the Conference is to share scientific knowledge, to promote contacts between scientists and to develop new ideas in fundamental research. We will bring together experts and young scientists working in experimental and theoretical areas of nuclear physics, particle physics (including astroparticle physics), and cosmology. Most recent results from the modern experiments in these areas and advanced detector technology development will be presented and discussed.
The working language of the conference is English.

Conference format
The ICPPA-2026 conference has the following format: plenary talks (25+5/30+10 min), long and short section talks (10+5/15+5/20+5 min) and poster session.

Registration, abstract submission - the 14th of September 2026 (23:59 Moscow time)
Invitation requests - the 25th of August 2026 (23:59 Moscow time)
Proceedings - the 7th of December 2026 (23:59 Moscow time)

To perform the registration, please fill out the Registration Form presented on the Conference site. After we receive your form, we will send you an email with the confirmation.
Please note that for the participants with talks or posters account in Indico system is required.

Conference fee
Regular conference fee - 40000 rubles (~550 euro).
The fee includes coffee breaks, conference dinner, social events and organizing expenses (including peer-review of one conference paper).
This year the conference is supported by the Priority 2030 program of Russian Ministry of Science and Education, thanks to it the conference fee for participants from scientific organisations of Russia and from scientific organisations of member-states of EAEU (including JINR) is reduced. Two options are available: full fee of - 14000 rubles and special fee - 10000 rubles (conference dinner is not included).
Students and PhD students may apply for financial support.
Conference proceedings
Talk materials will be available on the conference webpage. Selected proceedings of the Conference will be published in the journal (indexed in Russian Scientific Index, Scopus and/or in Web of Science) after peer-review. There is a preliminary agreement with journal Physics of Atomic Nuclei to publish conference proceedings.
The deadline for proceedings submission is December 7th, 2026 (inclusive). The papers sent after this date will be declined. Earlier submission is welcome! Please consider starting to write the proceedings before the conference.
Please send the paper draft to icppa@mephi.ru with both pdf and tex/word versions. Latex and word templates will be placed on the conference website.
Visas
An invitation letter is necessary for foreign participants to obtain a visa. This letter will be sent in 5-35 days (it depends on your citizenship) after we receive a request. If you need an invitation letter to request a visa in order to attend the Conference, please fill the corresponding fields in the registration form.
Please note that your international passport should be valid at least 1-1.5 years (depends on visa type) after your planned departure from Russia.
Accommodation
The Organizers are pleased to offer you a variety of accommodation options, close and within walking distance of conference venue. Alternately, it takes several minutes to reach venue by bus. You may choose from three hotels to suite all budgets.
