Description
An experimental study of xenon-cesium iodide (Xe+CsI) collisions at a beam kinetic energy of 3.8A GeV was performed at the BM@N experiment. The BM@N setup is equipped with forward detectors, including the Forward Hadron Calorimeter (FHCal) and the Forward Quartz Hodoscope (FQH), which provide information on the geometry of nuclear collisions.
In this work, the performance of the forward detector system is studied by comparing the measured detector response with predictions obtained using the DCM–QGSM–SMM and UrQMD–SMM models. The comparison focuses on the response of the FHCal and FQH and their correlation in experimental and simulated events.
