Description
TAIGA (Tunka Advanced Instrument for cosmic ray physics and Gamma Astronomy) is a hybrid air-shower observatory located in Eastern Siberia and designed to study high-energy gamma rays and cosmic rays. The TAIGA-IACT imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes operate at TeV energies, where a key challenge in gamma-ray observations is the suppression of the hadronic background, which significantly exceeds the gamma-ray flux.
Here we present an overview of analysis procedure used for TAIGA-IACT observations in monoscopic mode. The analysis chain is discussed, including event reconstruction, background estimation, gamma-like event selection, energy reconstruction, and the derivation of source energy spectra.
