Description
We present the results of the first search of reactor antineutrino capture on $^{72}$Ge with the metastable $^{72m}$Ga ($T_{1/2}$ = 39.7 ms, $E_{γ}$ = 119.7 keV) in the final state. The search is performed based on ~800 kg·days of data acquired by the νGeN 1.41-kg germanium spectrometer at the Kalinin nuclear power plant. An upper limit on exclusive $^{72}$Ge($\bar{ν}$, $e^+$)$^{72m}$Ga cross section is evaluated.
