Description
The anisotropic flow of produced particles provides the insight into the transport properties and the equation of state (EoS) of strongly interacting matter. This talk presents directed flow ($v_1$) measurements of charged pions in Xe+Cs(I) collisions at 3.8A GeV, obtained with the BM@N experiment. Pion directed flow is studied as a function of centrality, rapidity, and transverse momentum. The results are compared with existing world data, and their implications for constraining the EoS of dense baryonic matter are discussed.
