General information
This is the first announcement of the 5th International Conference on Particle Physics and Astrophysics (ICPPA-2020) to be held Online, (from the 5th to the 9th of October). The conference is organized by National Research Nuclear University “MEPhI”.
ICPPA2020 is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the famous russian particle physicist Boris Dolgoshein (1930-2010).
The aim of the Conference is to share scientific knowledge, to promote contacts between scientists and to develop new ideas in fundamental research. We will bring together experts and young scientists working in experimental and theoretical areas of nuclear physics, particle physics (including astroparticle physics), and cosmology. Most recent results from the modern experiments in these areas and advanced detector technology development will be presented and discussed.
The working language of the conference is English.

- Gravitation and cosmology
- Facilities and advanced detector technologies
Conference format
The ICPPA-2020 conference has the following format: plenary talks (25+5/30+10 min), long and short section talks (10+5/15+5/20+5 min) and poster sessions.
Deadlines
Abstract submission - the 10th of August extended till the 14th of August
Proceedings - the 11th of October
Registration
To perform the registration, please fill out the Registration Form presented on the Conference site. After we receive your form, we will send you an email with the confirmation.
Please note that for the participants with talks or posters account in Indico system is required.
Conference Venue
Due to COVID-19 situation in the world the ICPPA Organizing and Programme Comittees decided to have online conference this year.
The details of connection will be provided later.
Conference fee
Conference fees were cancelled for all participants.
Conference proceedings
Copies of the presentations of all talks will be available on the conference webpage. Proceedings of the Conference will be published in the journal indexed in Scopus and/or Web of Science.
The deadline for proceedings submission is October 11, 2020 (inclusive). Such a strict deadline is motivated by the issues connected with the fast publication. The proceedings will be published in the end of 2020.
The papers sent after the deadline will be declined. Earlier submission is highly welcomed! Please consider the starting of proceedings writing prior the conference.
Please send the paper draft to icppa2020@mephi.ru with both pdf and tex/word versions. Plots should be inserted at an appropriate place inside the draft (not at the end).
